Bob Neuwirth recalls that Dylan met Jim Kweskin (first?) at the Indian Neck Folk Festival in Branford, CT.

According to Clinton Heylin, A Life In Stolen Moments, New York, 1996, Dylan played a two-week residency at the Gaslight with Jim Kweskin (Fall 1961).

It is also likely that it is Jim Kweskin (NOT Ramblin' Jack Elliott) who performs with Dylan on an incomplete tape attributed to Gerde's Folk City, Sep 29, 1961.
